GSC Signature Gardens is a luxurious way of watching movie in the cinemas as the seating’s and atmosphere is different than any other GSC’s. The price for normal ticket is RM 20 and gold glass is RM 60. Even though the tickets are a bit pricy, the quality of the seating and the whole environment is better than any other GSC cinemas. I watched wolverine in GSC Signature Gardens quite some time ago and enjoyed the experience. They have a side table next to the seats for us to put our drinks and food so that it will not spill. Other than that, they also have 3 restaurants for us to dine in. If I’m not mistaken the names of the restaurants are café Caro, restaurant paradise and dessert bar for those who love sweet stuff and coffee. Overall it was a luxurious experience and I would go for gold glass next time around.

Tenji Japanese Restaurant is located in Soho Solaris Mont Kiara and it offers a good deal of buffet food. Of you are into Japanese food such as shashimi, tempanyaki and sushi’s, they have plenty of those. They also serve oysters almost the size of my palm. You only have to pay a fixed price and get to eat all you want. If you are not the raw food eating type you can always go for grilled fish and other grilled stuff. You have to place your clips with the table number on and they will serve it to you. They also have a wide range of drinks hot and cold. Desserts vary from chocholate mouse, tiramisu, puddings to Haagen Dazs ice-cream. It is worth your cash but to be on the safe side you can book a table earlier instead of walk-in. This is because this place is always crowded with people especially during lunch time.

This place is a newly opened water park in Taman Desa. It is not as big as Sunway Lagoon but it is suitable for kids. They have all kinds of water rides and the entrance fee is RM 20 for adults and RM 14 for kids. As it is a water theme park, you will have to play in the water therefore bring extra clothes to change. The water rides include ‘bubble pool’,’ ripple bay’, ‘thunder bolt’, and ‘baby waves’. I did not get in the water but the kids were having fun. They have locker room to change and keep your clothes. However, the food was very limited. They had a restaurant called ‘Kafe Warisan’ which seves all kinds of Malay food.

I had my company trip to Taman Negara (The National Park Malaysia) last month and it was a really good experience. Being born in the city, I have not been much on camping trips into the jungle. Maybe once or twice when I was young but this was a totally different experience completely. This place is the largest national park in Malaysia covering three states which are Kelantan, Terengganu and also Pahang. I went to the part near Pahang with my colleagues for team building. We went on jungle tracking, which involves canopy walks. This was fun because the canopy walk was attached from tree to tree. It was really high above the ground. We also hiked the mountains where I saw multiple types of plants and bugs. I’m not really a big fan of bugs but there were huge bugs crawling around in the jungle. I saw the rhinoceros hornbill beetle and a lot of butterflies the size of my palm. We also went on a boat ride from one part to another and did some teambuilding activities in the jungle. Along the way I saw campers camping in the camping area. Next time I plan to do the same as this time we were staying in resorts. If you are the nature kind of person head on to Taman Negara during your free time!

This place is located in SS2 PJ in a shop lot. You will not miss it as it is designed with the theme of a cave whereby the indoors are like a real cave. Usually couples go there to have a quiet dinner but it is also available for small group of people. Maximum is 8 people I think. The atmosphere is different whereby the dining table is in a cave. The ground floor is the reception area where you can request a table. You will then be escorted to you table upstairs. The stairs were like real cave stairs. Well I don’t know whether real caves has stairs or not but this one was made out of stones. Then you will be seated in a (cave) with curtains and the seats are in one row. Meaning you have to sit next to each other rather than facing your partner. They have the contraption for calling the waiter, water and also for bill. You can also adjust the music volume as there are speakers in every cave. The menu was pretty much like a normal western restaurant but they had Chinese cuisine too. Alcohol beverages were available as well. So overall, the experience was interesting and different from any other restaurant I have been, in terms of atmosphere I mean. So bring your friends and try out this restaurant!!

If you are into rides and theme park Genting highlands theme park is the place for you. They have both indoor and outdoor theme park with all kinds of fun and exhilarating rides. My favorite one is the ‘Solero shot’ which gives me the adrenalin rush I need. Not forgetting the ‘Flying coaster’ and ‘corkscrew’. There are many other rides in the outdoor such as the ‘spinner’, ‘grand prix fun kart’ and plenty more. If it rains, the rides will be closed and the tickets are non-refundable but you can always go to the indoor theme park. Basically you will never get enough even after you went on a ride. I went on ‘Solero Shot’ twice!! It is good to go and have fun and get some adrenalin rush once in a while to release the stress at work. :))
